Welcome...

Home

Welcome to Help A Horse, the 2nd website that includes more information about the animals, and extra news/updates.

Help A Horse is an organization that works with various rescues, needy animals, and shelters to help get their animals into good adoptive homes. We do our best to help the animals that come our way. Our organization was founded in December of 2006, and was inspired by Legacy, a 29yo Morgan mare (Legacy's Website).

Please look at the animals for adoption, and visit the rescues' websites!

This website does not include any of the rescue's animals, and does not include the important information about how to post on Help A Horse. You can only find that information on our official website at www.helpahorsenow.org.

Remember to link us to your website by going to the About Us page!

The Whispering Grass

I am blessed, with grass that's green and fresh with morning dew

And by my side a new born foal, of chestnut  golden hue

Oh how I'm blessed with a master kind, as I graze on meadows sweet

A world of dreams and happiness  that rests below hoofed  feet

But my heart is saddened , by the loss, of my truest dearest friend

For he had told me in the past,  his life would  shortly end

He told me  of the cruelty, inflicted to his mind

His body savaged by the hand, of an owner cruel, unkind

Oh dearest lord please help him, wherever he may be

Find him a home, where he can roam and love is tendered free

It's strange but God did answer, my lament my hopeful prayer

He said, just go to Help A Horse, he's safe, you'll find him there!
